30 Bad Movie Bosses

It’s well known that employees leave managers, not companies. But not even Tinsel Town could dream up this nightmare scenario!

Recent surveys in the UK and in the US have highlighted that the impact of a bad boss. In the UK, the number of people who cited that the reason they left their job was because of their bad manager stood at 40.74%. A similar survey in the USA revealed that this figure was, at 50%, even higher.

What really shocked us when we read the report was that in the recruitment industry, the survey scored 100%

Trilby Rajna of Approved Index, who compiled the UK survey, said that these results are concerning. “With developments in technology it has become difficult for employees to disconnect from work when they leave the office,” she said. “If on top of that their working environment is sullied by a horrible boss, that’s a huge part of their day spent feeling miserable and stressed.”

So, we decided to provide a little light relief, to try and reduce the stress levels and hopefully help you to put your boss’s performance into perspective. We created a list of 30 bad movie bosses. How many of these movies have you seen?
