BTEC Advanced Award in Developing Management Skills

Level 3 – for crew and watch managers

 

BTECThe BTEC Advanced Award in Developing Management Skills is a customised framework short course which has been developed in line with the ‘people skills’ section of the IPDS development model. Students are required to complete a minimum of 60 guided learning hours, within which they will create a portfolio evidencing their skills and knowledge.

 

Why this programme?

This programme has been specifically developed for the Supervisory Management section of the IPDS development model by mapping across the relevant IPDS modules and the National Occupational Standards. On completion of this programme students will have a recognised management qualification at Level 3.

Structure

This three unit modular programme is delivered through a variety of tutor lead experiential workshops. The full certificated programme totals 9 days.
The programme can be rolled out and completed to a schedule, which meets the requirements of any FRS Authority.
