New Supervisor/Team Leader

The decision to promote a member of staff to a position of supervisory responsibility for the work group is often based on their effectiveness in the current role. Whilst experience and skill are invaluable in maintaining standards of work, they do not prepare supervisors/team leaders for the additional responsibilities they will face. This course helps participants make the transition from being one of the team to becoming its first line leader, examines the scope and responsibilities of the role, and introduces them to the principles and skills of effective supervision.
