Francis joined Cegos in 2001, following a 20-year career in financial services. During that career, he balanced multi-million pound budgets and was responsible for thousands of staff, as well as managing organisational change and driving sales and productivity.
Working in all aspects of the business – including management, strategic planning, sales and operations – gave Francis a solid understanding of the business world; an understanding he now puts to use on behalf of Cegos and its clients in both the UK and globally. Appointed as Managing Director of Cegos UK in 2004, he also serves as a Group Committee Member for the whole group.
Francis is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Banking, as well as holding a wide range of qualifications and certifications in coaching, neuro-linguistics programming, MBTI, SDI and DiSC.
His combination of real-life business acumen and training expertise make him a much sought after consultant, specialising in devising and delivering challenging programmes for senior and high potential leaders. He also trains in management, strategic planning, cultural awareness, communications, sales, negotiation and customer services, among others.
His clients include the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, Oracle, Sony DADC and RBS.

Alan joined Cegos in 2003, after a long and impressive career with global concerns such as AOL Time Warner, Time Magazine Europe, Time Life Australia and American Express Europe.
He has held roles that include Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and VP Consumer Marketing and New Media, and Managing Director – underpinning his training skills with solid business experience.
In addition to a degree from the University of York and a masters from London Business School, Alan also holds a range of qualifications in training, coaching and mentoring.
His specialist areas include the design and delivery of leadership and management learning solutions, financial and commercial awareness programmes, and a range of soft skills training.
Alan also carries out coaching assignments in the private and charity sectors.

Andy Paterson joined Cegos in 2002, having gained extensive experience working for companies such as Imperial Tobacco and Beecham.

By using this background, and combining it with a pragmatic approach to training, Andy offers clients in the UK and abroad learning experiences that deliver real results.
Andy has designed and delivered bespoke programmes to many international clients, including Airbus, Mercer, Oracle and Schenker.
He specialises in coaching sales people during campaigns, building commercially sound sales processes, and supporting management teams during mergers and acquisitions.
Andy graduated from the University of West Scotland with a BA (Hons) in Economics and Marketing (Psychology).
Andy Paterson joined Cegos in 2002, having worked for companies such as Imperial Tobacco and Beecham after graduating from the University of West Scotland with a BA (Hons) in Economics and Marketing (Psychology).
He designs and delivers international programmes that bring real results, focusing on coaching, sales processes and support during mergers and acquisitions.

Dave Watts joined Cegos after a successful career in banking, where he gained wide-ranging experience in training, personal development, management and sales.
Combining his real-life business experience with his skills as a trainer, Dave offers clients in the UK and abroad a high quality service. He designs and delivers a variety of courses, including management and leadership learning solutions, performance management, sales, negotiation, and key account management.
He also specialises in personal effectiveness training, such as presentation skills, influencing, customer service and project management, helping his clients get more from their people.
Dave has a BTEC National Diploma in Business Studies, Chartered Institute of Bankers’ qualifications in credit, law, economics, management and accountancy, and certifications from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development, and in Blanchard’s Situational Leadership®II and SDI.

Ken joined Cegos in 2003 after a varied and successful career in the food and drinks industry and the financial services sector.
Combining this real-life business experience with more than a decade of designing and delivering high quality training, Ken offers a first-class service to clients that include Sony, Oracle, Eurostar, Towers Watson, RBS, Nissan, Toyota and Schenker Logistics.
Ken has a strong focus on all aspects of sales – training individuals, teams and entire international departments. His core areas include sales management, team leadership, key account management, B2B selling, negotiation, value selling, commercial awareness and global account management.
As well as being certified in MBTI, Situational Leadership®II and SDI, Ken holds a BA (Hons) in Marketing & Business Law from the University of Strathclyde.

Kevin joined Cegos in 2005, following a long career in the banking sector. Specialising in learning and development, he spent several years consulting for NatWest/RBS on the design and delivery of divisional training.
An Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, he is also a certified MBTI and DiSC practitioner.
Kevin is an international account manager with strong relationship-building and communication skills, combining these with his real-life experience in the business sector.
He specialises in the design and delivery of management and leadership learning solutions, and has a strong focus on courses that enhance personal skills such as assertiveness, communication, presentation skills and team building.

Nicki joined Cegos in 2015, and has over 27 years of experience in sales, marketing, training and client management.
As a certified coach, her specialism lies in financial services, as well as in wealth management and the insurance industry.
Nicki has expertise in business development, and has worked for several corporates in this regard, such as Warner Bros, Airbus, Intersurgical, and Royal Life. She also brings a wealth of experience from the property sector, where she has worked in both industrial and residential sales.
A you would expect, Nicki is a people person and has the kind of all-round knowledge and drive to work closely with clients and help them achieve their goals.
Nicki joined Cegos in 2015, and has over 27 years of experience in sales, marketing, training and client management. Rameez joined Cegos in 2016, after 8 years’ experience in the learning and development industry. He has held a variety of roles and responsibilities, including working in marketing and business development, with both B2B and B2C clients.
With a passion for business and technology, he is a commercially focused individual who loves to experiment with new ways of learning.
Rameez has experience developing Learning Management Systems, authoring e-learning to support blended learning, and has created programmes in leadership, management and soft-skills.

Senior Associate Consultant
Richard joined Cegos in 1999, after a career that included corporate banking, capital markets research and operations consultancy. This experience gives him a firm practical base to his conversations, ensuring that conclusions and challenges remain grounded and feasible whether with a team or individual.
Richard attributes much of his style to a background in investigative science; this has helped develop a keen analytical eye and systems thinking approach to organisational and personal change. He has a coaching and questioning style that adds value from the start and gets to the heart of challenges. He believes that trust, flexibility and challenge are key attributes of a good facilitator/coach.
Specific experience includes working with individuals and teams as a facilitator and coach; delivering project management training; developing customer centric behaviours and processes; designing and delivering management and leadership development programmes, business simulations and events. Some specific topic areas Richard covers include: strategy articulation, change management, personal effectiveness, influencing and persuasion skills and creative thinking.

Richard moved into consultancy in 2003 and joined the Cegos team in 2006, after a successful career within the banking sector and the London Stock Market.
He discovered his passion for developing people while running the Learning and Development department for a retail bank. He has since become an NLP Master Practitioner, studied management at Cranfield University, and gained accreditations to run 360 degree feedback on TMSDI & DiSC and Company Strategy Programmes.
Richard specialises in management and leadership, company strategy, personal development and coaching. He has also written programmes on subjects such as Emotional Intelligence, Advanced Interview Skills, Career Transition and Performance Management.
Combining his significant business experience with a hands-on teaching style, Richard counts RBS, Barclays Capital, HSBC, Citibank and BT among his clients.

Sarah joined Cegos in 2010, after a varied career in consultancy and training. She holds a degree in Education and English, qualifications in coaching and mentoring, and is also a lecturer, NLP Master Practitioner and Trainer and a Gravesian/Spiral Dynamics II practitioner. She is EQ-i 2.0, Strengths Deployment Inventory and MBTI certified.
Her specialist subjects include leadership and management, coaching, change, emotional intelligence and strategic planning, and a range of soft skills courses. She is experienced in coaching at all levels, including senior executives, and is also skilled in the research and design of competency frameworks and 360 assessments.
Sarah’s career has included roles such as Managing Director and Deputy Head of Professional Development, and she has consulted widely in a variety of sectors. She has worked for – among others – major training providers, Cranfield University, Sainsbury’s, the Fire and Rescue Service and Warner Bros.
