Cegos is rewarded for its strong innovation strategy in the European Business Awards

4th October 2019

Our strong innovation strategy has won us recognition from one of the most prestigious business awards in the world.

Cegos is one of 363 best businesses from 33 countries across Europe which have been named ‘National Winners’ in the 2019 European Business Awards, one of the world’s largest business competitions.

These successful companies were chosen from 2,753 businesses previously identified as ‘Ones to Watch’ in a list of European Business Excellence published in July.

They were selected by a panel of 150 independent judges including business leaders, politicians and academics and will now go on to represent their country in the final stage of the competition which aims to develop a strong, successful, and ethical European business community.

Cegos was named as one of the businesses to watch in France in the innovation category for businesses with a turnover between €150m and €500m.

“This award distinguishes our strong and dynamic innovation strategy, in particular #UP our new skills acquisition collection, its positive impact on our economic performance, and its high added value for our clients,” said Jonathan Mohadeb, Cegos Head of International Projects.

Adrian Tripp CEO of the European Business Awards said: “This is a significant achievement. Each company is an outstanding leader in their field.  Even in our 12th year the judges continue to be impressed and encouraged by the breadth of talent, innovation and success from businesses who are driving prosperity, creating jobs and improving lives across Europe.

“We wish all of our National Winners the best of luck in the final round and look forward to welcoming them to the Gala Final in December.”

The National Winners come from all sectors; from manufacturing to retail, agriculture to technology. They are of all sizes, too, from start-ups to billion euro businesses. They will go to Warsaw, Poland, on December 3 and 4 to complete a final round of judging.

There will be a Business Summit to discuss and engage in key issues, and the Gala Ceremony where the 19 overall category winners for the 2019 European Business Awards will be announced.
